Students, if Metro is your method of transportation to and from school, did you know that Southwest Public Schools can provide you with a Metro Card? All new and returning CCPA students are eligible to receive a Metro Card upon request.

Requested Metro Cards will be available for pick up during lunch on Monday, August 10th and Tuesday, August 11th in the MPR.
For returning CCPA students:
If you currently have a Metro Card from last school year, you may continue to use it. And if you have any issues with your Metro Card on the first day of school, stop by at lunch to be assisted.
If you need a replacement Metro Card, you can also complete the form to submit a request and pay the $2 fee when you pick up.
Students, you can visit Ms. Martinez (office # 212) at any time during the school year to get help with your Metro Card or to request a new or replacement card.
A reminder to our CCPA families, we continue to collect prepayments for your student’s laptop for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
School assigned laptops are mandatory for all CCPA students. Under House Bill 1481, it requires all Texas public schools to prohibit student use of personal communication devices, which includes laptops, during the instructional day. The law was introduced in 2025 and continues to be in effect.
This week, on campus collection dates will take place on Thursday, August 6th and Saturday, August 8th. Don’t delay - help your student start the new school year prepared and ready for success!
The Student Device Use Agreement form is now available electronically. We have two options to prepay:
Option 1: Electronically (Pay via Zelle)
1. Scan the QR code or click the following link and sign the Student Device Use agreement form: SY26-27 CCPA Student Device Agreement Form .
2. Scan the Zelle QR code found in the agreement form link. Follow prompts to pay. Note your student’s full name & grade.
3. Take a screenshot of the Zelle payment confirmation and email it to Ms. Martinez at cmartinez1@swschools.org . Note the name on the Zelle account, student’s full name, ID # & grade.
Option 2: In Person (pay Cash)
Sign the agreement form and pay cash on campus during the dates and times listed.
Students will receive their laptops on campus beginning on Tuesday, August 11th, 2026.
